I just though everything could've ended well after all the tiring event and exercise that has taken place. I am no longer calm. I am no longer cool. I can no longer tell what's right what's wrong. I can no longer decide what path lies for me. Am i really wrong? I really hate army life. I only want back my freedom.
Perhaps i really do tend to keep things to myself. That's just my habit since young. Sometimes i really duno which is the true side of me.
Today is navigation exercise again =( Really hate to navigate now that i noe i am those kinda that will holan v badly Went to a new place to navigate and the vegetation was even thicker. I think we had seen most kinds of terrain there that you can find in Singapore Swamp. Stream. Slopes. Big commando ants everywhere
At night, the visibility practically reduced to zero. Moonless night and thick cover from the tree. Could see nothing but serum straw and silhouette of people.
When the exercise is completed, i noe very clearly that i like the night mode of the city best =)
Today is truly one of the most hectic week. Lots of navigation and tests. Rather stress though.
There was a morning whereby the fire alarm jus goes off for nothing. Then everyone just woke up and was so stunned and looking at each other. Lolz.
Then there's some navigation through vegetation. Bashing through forest. Going down a super steep slope which is so scary. Climbing up and through vegetation only to find a beautiful scenery on top of everything.
Once the bunk door was unlocked, everyone cheered and shouted and rushed in to unpack their stuff. Then everyone was chiong-ing to the bathroom to bathe. So happy to see civilisation.
The field trip was 4 days long. Near PLC and next to a cemetry. Alot of chiong sua here and there during the 4 days And lots of us kena the heat rashes.
The basha area also have lots of commando ants and thorns. And with the people of the lower basha keep having deepavali every night, Sleep was hardly enough.
Then there was one night when we were playing with light sticks and serum straws. Haha, it was pretty nice in the night =)
Lost my voice on the last day of field camp. Perhaps too much shouting of command and not so hydrated ba.
Though its jus a 4 day camp, it's definitely tougher than that in Tekong
Phew. Finally home after a never-ending briefing by my long-winded encik. Super tired and sleepy. Gonna blog tomorrow.
Btw. 9th April.. Happy Birthday Ming!! Havent really gotten him a gift. And i never had done it be4. Its his 21st. Thought it will be a special year =)
